We all need a sister like this one. What would you call this sister? A Murderer's Aide? Yes, that fits. The title is "My Sister,The Serial Killer."  Sight by Jessie GreenGrass A child is her desire, maybe. With the migraines, I, the reader,  am screaming not yet. Tomorrow? So soon? Dissected hands, X-rays are very interesting. I have never seen my hands without skin. Although, those have done an X-ray of my hand or hands. The lady has a different reaction. The Adults by Caroline Hulse How exciting going on a vacation with two couples. One is the exes and the other one are the newly formed couples. 

These are relationship oriented plots. Thankfully I had the chance to look at them before buying. I hope the authors are experiencing the good life and definitely, still writing.

 Charlie is leaving Lancashire for New York. It is her first time visiting there. She is so excited. In her shoes, I would feel the same way. The trip on the plane goes well. Everything is great until she figures it out. Harry Taylor is not there to meet her.  It is such a horrible feeling to experience what is happening to her. She spends hours at the airport and find she does not have enough information with her. The story goes on. Although I have never had this experience, I almost feel her pain. It is a wonderful book. We definitely learn about Charlie.When all we want to know is where is Harry. Walking this woman back and forth as she tries to think what to tell her parents, etc. leaves the heart pumping faster and faster. You really feel like crying for her. This is not the way I pictured her New York Christmas. By the way, Lancashire is near London.

 It is fascinating to read the facts about the great auk. From many to nearly none the auk has disappeared. What happened to them? The flightless birds in their black and white suits, in paintings, line the walls in the British Museum Sherlock Holmes is not on vacation. He is investigating another murder. One of the lovers of birds, Professor Richard Owen, is dead. He is murdered in the museum. Now, Sherlock Holmes explores the life of a devoted mother's son. Professor Owen thinks the bird under the glass is fake. He had a way to sell his truth to those important men standing around the display. Who knew the Great Auk could cost such a ruckus? Now, I know. Linda Stratmann in "The Legend of the Great Auk" gives us back that intelligent and some might say sexy gent

 My family must own some secrets too. It seems the normal thing. If they have any skeletons rattling in the closet,  they have been more than silent. At the moment, I am looking at all of them with suspicious eyes.  "In From The Cold" is about a family in turmoil. So many relationships cluttered with a hush. Since it is a novel, I can read it with the joy of being uninvolved. I do not know what happens to the body as we make up lies to cover truths. It is all done because we want to protect someone from pain. As we protect them, they look around and see and feel that some thing is not right about their life. The one who is keeping the secrets searches for ways to cover his dishonesty: drinking, sex, running. It is all just balls scattered on the floor. No one can walk through them. You just get a bigger headache. This proves that secrets have a life too. They scramble and move around like crabs. Until one day they bust out of confinement. Then, trouble really moves in. There
