 Life has settled in a delicious place for Nicole and Tom. They have won the lottery. They are now rich. Unfortunately, while money is just dropping from the stars and the moon there is sorrow. Tom is found face down in the pool dead. I feel so sorry for Nicole. She shared every moment with Tom. They were not only husband and wife. They were also best friends.  Life too often follows this scenario. In one hand are your wonderful dreams that have come true. In the other hand is all your tears for broken  (dreams) bubbles. It is for sure. Happiness can fly away too quickly. Thank you to William Morrow and NetGalley for a complimentary copy.

 Charlie is leaving Lancashire for New York. It is her first time visiting there. She is so excited. In her shoes, I would feel the same way. The trip on the plane goes well. Everything is great until she figures it out. Harry Taylor is not there to meet her.  It is such a horrible feeling to experience what is happening to her. She spends hours at the airport and find she does not have enough information with her. The story goes on. Although I have never had this experience, I almost feel her pain. It is a wonderful book. We definitely learn about Charlie.When all we want to know is where is Harry. Walking this woman back and forth as she tries to think what to tell her parents, etc. leaves the heart pumping faster and faster. You really feel like crying for her. This is not the way I pictured her New York Christmas. By the way, Lancashire is near London.
