Discipleship is the theme of this Bible Study book.  Father Higganbotham calls it a four step program. It is easy to study because the Father translates the words and explains the many meanings for a foreign word. What is most important according to the author is to stay with Jesus through thick and thin. Always believing He, Jesus, has not left you. He will empower you and send the Holy Spirit to comfort you. Although Remaining with Jesus is a Catholic book  any one searching for truth can read it. However, one of the steps is to witness to other people when your faith is strong enough.

 Charlie is leaving Lancashire for New York. It is her first time visiting there. She is so excited. In her shoes, I would feel the same way. The trip on the plane goes well. Everything is great until she figures it out. Harry Taylor is not there to meet her.  It is such a horrible feeling to experience what is happening to her. She spends hours at the airport and find she does not have enough information with her. The story goes on. Although I have never had this experience, I almost feel her pain. It is a wonderful book. We definitely learn about Charlie.When all we want to know is where is Harry. Walking this woman back and forth as she tries to think what to tell her parents, etc. leaves the heart pumping faster and faster. You really feel like crying for her. This is not the way I pictured her New York Christmas. By the way, Lancashire is near London.
