The New Mother by Nora Murphy

Babies are always a happy event especially for the new parents. Parents might give the new baby a special and sweet nickname. This mother in "The New Mother" by Nora Murphy calls her infant "stranger." Maybe the new Millennials have a whole different way to look at the baby world. There is the feeling Nora Murphy is about to introduce new ideas about new babies and new mothers. This woman is treating the newborn as someone totally separate from herself. Whatever is happening, it is presented well by Nora Murphy.
