In The Greek Midwinter by Mandy Baggot

Where is David? David is Jen's love. He has begged off for the holidays because of work in Greece. Is this true? I think he has been kidnapped. His behavior is very strange. He does not return any of Jen's phone calls. Jen has reached a spot in her life where much is unknown.  Still, it is Christmas. A time when she is happy and comforted She loves Christmas so much she wishes people would celebrate it every day of the. year. Thinking of Jen's idea makes sense. Think how many sad children could find happiness if they could celebrate it at any time of year no matter whether it is spring, summer or fall..

For now, Jen's plans quickly change because of David's dishonesty and betrayal. Jen decides to get back to the UK as soon as possible. Besides, she can not afford for Bonnie to keep lending her money. It is a shame Jen and Bonnie do not have the time to share a heart to heart conversation about the news Jen received on the phone.

Some chapters are titled with names of famous locations in Greece.  You might want to pack a bag immediately and get to the airport. The Greek country definitely knows about the splendors of Christmas Also, there is the Acropolis and the Parthenon.Everything is so diverse it probably takes more than one trip for a midwinter tour in Greece. I liked reading about the curvy, cobble stoned streets with doors on a slant that could take you to another unknown place. Jen gets the chance to see local streets with Astro. She met him in a bar and restaurant.  He is a waiter. There is one problem. He is not into Christmas. Jen owns a business. It is named Christmas Every Day. Oh, would you like a taste of cabbage roll? Come for dinner.
