 It's a tragic book. It is difficult to understand the mind. Lucia grows up with the name of thugs and their faces in her mind. Almost immediately, at the beginning of"Where No One will See," Lucia's father is dead. He has met a miserable death The only real fact we have is that he did not come home for dinner that evening.The family and friends seem to take it easily except for Angie, ,his wife who becomes more solemn. You don't see it in writing but you know her love runs deep.  Lucia is their daughter. While grieving,her mind is asking questions. What happened? There are always secrets. Some told ; Some stay hidden forever.

Lucia's father worked and gained money by killing people.These men who do this type of service are called Contract Killers. Deep down what are the feelings of the immediate family. After all, all their hearts beat like any other person's . It is not who you love. It is how much you loved this Jane Doe or John Smith.

Whom we love and whom we do not love and why is interesting.The bad and the good are deeply loved by their inner circle. How we live or how we make our living does not need answers. What we want to know is who took him out. It's a struggle to deny wanting revenge. Never having seen the corpse yet, we want blood.

 Charlie is leaving Lancashire for New York. It is her first time visiting there. She is so excited. In her shoes, I would feel the same way. The trip on the plane goes well. Everything is great until she figures it out. Harry Taylor is not there to meet her.  It is such a horrible feeling to experience what is happening to her. She spends hours at the airport and find she does not have enough information with her. The story goes on. Although I have never had this experience, I almost feel her pain. It is a wonderful book. We definitely learn about Charlie.When all we want to know is where is Harry. Walking this woman back and forth as she tries to think what to tell her parents, etc. leaves the heart pumping faster and faster. You really feel like crying for her. This is not the way I pictured her New York Christmas. By the way, Lancashire is near London.
